Vanessa Cobb is the director of instrumental music at Rossview Middle School.Previously, Mrs. Cobb was the 6th grade band director for White House Heritage Elementary, K-2 General Music teacher at Robert F. Woodall Primary School, and the assistant director for White House Heritage Elementary School. Cobb completed a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting and a Master of Music in Education at APSU in 2013 where she was named an Outstanding Graduate Assistant. While a master’s student at APSU, Cobb was the graduate assistant for the athletic bands. She helped with rehearsals and wrote marching band drill. She also helped to organize and efficiently run the GOMB. Prior to her position at RMS, Cobb was the Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at APSU. She was also the band director at NWHS in Clarksville, TN. She is a member of NAfME, MTSBOA, and TBA.
