I am a Clarksville native. I received my Bachelor of Science in Journalism/English with a minor in Psychology at Austin Peay State University in 1987. I added my certification to teach in 1997 and completed my Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction at Austin Peay in 1998. I taught my first year at New Providence Middle School and transferred to Rossview Middle School when it opened in 1998. I have taught 6th and 7th grade Language Arts, Reading Interventions, Study Skills and Social Emotional Learning classes. In 2018 I added my English as a Second Language Certification and have been servicing our ELs since then.
