I moved to Clarksville 23 years ago from east Tennessee. I earned a B.A. degree in Religion from Carson Newman College, Tennessee teaching certification and licensure at Austin Peay State University, and Ma.ED from Bethel University. I'm halfway toward earning an Ed.S. in Leadership. I've been a CMCSS educator for 18 years. I taught 9 years at MCMS in 7th-8th grade Reading and Social Studies and 1 year teaching 8th grade Social Studies at RIMS. Then, I served ROMS, RHS, and district at-large as a Technology Integration Coach training/coaching teachers. In order to be more present with my family, I decided to return to teaching middle school students after 2 years. This is my 4th year back in the classroom at ROMS. Since returning, I taught Educational Technology (Google Apps) for Graphic Design for 2 years, 1 year of virtual 6th/7th Social Studies, and this is my 3rd year as a 7th Social Studies Teacher on the 7th Grade Crimson Hawks Team.
