Greetings, Rossview family! I am a long-time Clarksvillian and a product of CMCSS. This is my 14th year in the classroom, and I am still as passionate about teaching as I was my first year. I have taught all things English 6th to 12th grade, but my heart has always been with middle school students, and I am thrilled to be working with 8th graders this year. I was humbled and honored to receive the Green Apple Teaching Award in 2009 and 2010, the Spotlight Award in 2012, the Distinguished Educator Award in 2013, and the Artisan Teacher Award in 2014. I am looking forward to a meaningful, productive, and exciting year. My goals are to create a safe, comfortable learning environment to foster a growth mindset in all students, to encourage all students to achieve their potential, and to instill an appreciation for reading and writing in every student.
